Softball Picked to Finish 3rd in Preseason

The USA South Athletic Conference's softball coaches have released their 2020 preseason polls. Each divisional preseason poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.

The 2020 Lady Bishop Softball team was picked to finish third inthe USA South East Division poll released on Thursday. NC Wesleyan is the defending East Division Champions with a 20-13 overall record last year while going 12-4 in the conference.

The 2020 USA South Softball Tournament will feature the top-six teams from each division and begin April 18-19. The top-three seeds from each division will host best-of-three series. The winners of those series will advance to a six-team double-elimination tournament which will be played April 24-26 at the Rocky Mount Softball Complex in Rocky Mount, North Carolina as a part of the USA South Spring Sports Festival, hosted by the City of Rocky Mount.
