Molly Alejandrino Wins USA South Softball Player of the Week

Macon, GA - After an impressive 7-1 week, softball's Molly Alejandrino won USA South Player of the Week honors. 

Molly Alejandrino, N.C. Wesleyan - The sophomore infielder Virginia Beach, Virginia was a combined 12-for-24 (.500), with a .582 on-base percentage, and a .917 slugging percentage to go along with seven runs scored, nine RBI, two doubles, one triple, two home runs, and five walks in a 7-1 week for the Battling Bishops. In two games against nationally-ranked opponents, Rowan and Randolph-Macon, Alejandrino was a combined 4-for-7 with one run scored, one run batted in, and two doubles. Alejandrino's home runs came in wins over Carolina University and Denison.
