Morgan Aycock Named USA South Rookie Pitcher of the Week

Macon, GA - The freshman from Clayton, North Carolina earned a 2-0 record last week against USA South competition. In 14 total innings, Aycock allowed four runs on 14 hits with five walks and seven strikeouts. In a 7-0 win over Methodist, Aycock tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits and two walks with three strikeouts. In a 7-4 victory over Southern Virginia, Aycock again went the distance, allowing four runs on ten hits with three walks and four strikeouts.
