Lacrosse Picks Up First Conference Win Over William Peace

Raleigh, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan lacrosse program picked up its first conference win over William Peace by a score of 10-6. A big second period featured seven Bishop goals and helped secure the victory. Lailah Espinal continued her impressive season scoring two goals for Wesleyan, but Blaire Harley took over the game against the Pacers recording four goals, and three ground balls.

Goalie Jillian Stine got the win with four saves for the Lady Bishops, but was helped by a strong start with nine of the game's first ten goals scored by Wesleyan.

The Lady Bishops improve to 2-5 on the season and 1-1 in the USA South. The lacrosse program will travel to Brevard on Saturday.
