Finney Named USA South Rookie of the Week

Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has released its weekly awards for October 7th, with N.C. Wesleyan women's soccer securing its second honoree of the season in the form of freshman midfielder Carolyn Finney. The Norfolk, Virginia native helped the Bishops to a 1-1 record last week en route to Rookie of the Week accolades.

Finney tallied her first collegiate goal on Saturday versus Ferrum, and it was a big one. With less than five minutes left in double overtime, she netted the Golden Goal to secure the Bishops' first league win of the season.
