Christina Mendoza Romero Named USA South Rookie of the Year

Macon, GA - Mendoza Romero, a freshman from Genoa, Italy becomes the fifth Battling Bishop to be named USA South Rookie of the Year. Playing at the number-three singles position this season, Mendoza Romero was unbeaten in USA South play, posting an 8-0 record. For her efforts this season, Mendoza Romero earned First Team All-Conference honors while collecting USA South Rookie of the Week accolades once.
