Kristal Dule Earns All-American Honors at NCAA Championships

Orlando, Florida. – N.C. Wesleyan tennis standout Kristal Dule fell in the second round of the NCAA DIII Individual Tennis Championship in Orlando, Florida. However, by qualifying in the top sixteen in the nation with her first-round win, Dule will be named an All-American for the Battling Bishops.

Leading in the third set of the match, Dule would fall in a nailbiting tiebreaker to Alisha Chulani who went on in the third round to lose in a close match to the 2023 National Champion from Pomona-Pitzer.

Dule's magnificent run ends the 2023 women's tennis campaign which was a historic one. In her two years at NCWU, Dule has already solidified herself as one of the most accomplished athletes in Wesleyan history.

In her career, she has not lost a conference match and is the first-ever individual women's tennis athlete in school history not only to qualify but to win a match in the individual championship.

Dule will be the third All-American at Wesleyan this calendar year as well, joining track athlete Ahnia Cherry and baseball athlete Payne Stolsworth.
