Rocky Mount, N.C. - This past Saturday, the North Carolina Wesleyan men's and women's tennis teams welcomed high school players from Belmont Fitness and Racket Club for an invitational doubles tournament. The event consisted of mixed doubles matches between Wesleyan and Belmont players.
The Battling Bishops helped organize the tourney, which was held at the Slick Family Foundation Tennis Center. NCWC players conducted stretching and warm-up drills prior to match play.
"Events like this provide the opportunity for the community to visit our great campus and our excellent tennis facilities," said Wesleyan Head Coach Andres Amores. "I was very happy with the turnout we had today, and I look forward to hosting more invitationals throughout the year."
