Wesleyan Tennis Hosts USTA Bishops Challenge

Rocky Mount, N.C. - This past weekend, the North Carolina Wesleyan men's and women's tennis teams welcomed youth players from across the state to participate in the first-ever USTA Bishops Challenge. The event featured 40 kids in three different age brackets separated by gender (U12, U14, U18).

The Battling Bishops helped organize the tourney, which was held at the Slick Family Foundation Tennis Center.

"Events like this provide the opportunity for the community to visit our great campus and our excellent tennis facilities," said Wesleyan Head Coach Andres Amores. "I was very happy with the turnout we had this weekend, and I look forward to hosting more events like this throughout the year."
