Robin Pietryk is honored to headline the 2019 Hall of Fame class after serving as the head volleyball coach for 15 years at NCWC from 2000-2014. Graduating from Bethany College (WV) in 1990 as a three-time all-conference volleyball player and two-time all-conference softball player, Pietryk, a native of East Liverpool, OH, joined the Bishops in 2000 and immediately posted a winning record of 15-14. She would go on to post eight winning seasons compiling 247 career wins in the process.

Pietryk's Wesleyan tenure saw her build a strong winning tradition for North Carolina Wesleyan volleyball. From 2007 to 2012, her Lady Bishops recorded six consecutive 20-win seasons including tying a school record for wins with 26 in 2008 that tied the 1980 team record for wins. Over those six years, Pietryk led her team to a record of 134 wins and 67 losses (a .667 winning %). Individually, she guided 13 different players to 26 First, Second, or honorable mention team All-Conference honors, as well as leading one player to earn USA South Woman and/or Rookie of the Year accolades in 2008 and 2011.

"I am thankful for the opportunity I had coaching at North Carolina Wesleyan," said Pietryk. "It was both a privilege and honor to coach so many wonderful young women."

Pietryk was also an assistant on the softball staff as Ashlee Bass enjoyed a terrific Bishop career on the softball field as well.
