Scott Preston was a standout player for the North Carolina
Wesleyan men's soccer program from 1982-1985. A four-time Most
Valuable Player for the Battling Bishops, he was also a four-time
Dixie First Team All-Conference performer. His career culminated
with All-American honors during his 1985 senior season.
During his career, Preston's teams compiled a 45-25-6 overall
record, which was the most successful four-year span in program
history at the time. His 1984 team, in fact, made the program's
first NCAA Tournament appearance.
