Golf Finishes Second at Chowan Fall Classic

Lasker, N.C. - The men's golf team of North Carolina Wesleyan competed on Saturday at Chowan University's Fall Classic. The Battling Bishops placed second in the three-team field with a team score of 331. Senior Adam Coelho paced Wesleyan with a team-best 77 (+5), which placed him second among 14 golfers.

The single round event was held at the par-72 Valley Pine Country Club. Also competing for NCWC were freshman Stephen Bardswick and sophomore Allen-Michael Wilson, who each carded rounds of 79 to tie for fourth place. Senior Zach Alexander round out the Bishops' scorers with a 96 in his second collegiate round.

Wesleyan wraps up its fall season on October 24th and 25th at the O'Briant Memorial hosted by Guilford College.
