Louisburg, N.C. - North Carolina Wesleyan's golf team competed at Louisburg College's Bullfight Summons on Sunday, October 2nd, finishing in 6th place as a team. Sophomore Allen-Michael Wilson paced the Bishops in the 18-hole event with a career-low round of 73 (+1) to tie for 3rd place among the field of 29 golfers.

The event was held at Bull Creek Golf Course, a par-72, 6,334-yard course in Louisburg. Also competing for Wesleyan were Stephen Bardwick (78), Zach Alexander (94) and Matt Dougherty (104). Bardswick's 78 gave him a 12th place finish.

Host Louisburg College took top team honors with a 294. The Battling Bishops carded a team score of 349.

Next up for Wesleyan is the Chowan University Fall Classic in Murfreesboro. The single-round event is slated for October 15th.
