Wilson, N.C. - Freshman Lucas Norman turned in his second career top-10 finish with a two-over 146 at this week's Barton Intercollegiate held at the Wilson Country Club. Norman carded two rounds of 73 to finish tied for 9th-place in the field of 99 golfers.

The two-day event featured representatives from 18 teams. The Bishops combined for team rounds of 337 on Monday and 330 on Tuesday to earn a 15th-place billing in the tourney.

Also competing for Wesleyan were Darren Lau (84-81) and Allen-Michael Wilson (82-85), while seniors Owen White and Stefan Hauksson rounded out NCWC's line-up.

Host Barton College took top team honors with rounds of 280 and 289. Bulldog golfer Daniel Claytor earned medalist recognition with a nine-under 135 (68-67).

The Bishops will next compete in the Glenn Heath Memorial hosted by Newport News Apprentice on April 8-10.
