Rocky Mount, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan golf team wrapped up its 2013 slate over the weekend at the USA South Conference Championship held at Rocky Mount's Benvenue Country Club. The Battling Bishops carded a 6th-place finish as a team and were led by sophomore Lucas Norman's 13th-place individual showing. Additionally, junior Allen-Michael Wilson was honored at Friday night's awards ceremony as NCWC's representative on the league's All-Sportsmanship Team.

Wesleyan beat out league foes Ferrum and Maryville in the standings thanks to a team-best round of 317 on Sunday. Norman also posted the team's best individual round of the tourney on Sunday with a one-under par 71. He finished at 14-over par for the tournament, which featured three rounds.

Sophomore Stephen Bardswick finished 24th among the 40-man field with a three-day 242 (77-77-88), which tied teammate Wilson (78-84-80).  Also competing for the Bishops were freshmen Raul de Leon (91-83-82) and Tommy Nakamura (90-90-84).
