Golfers Anderson & Silvestri tied for 1st after First Round

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The NC Wesleyan Golf team is tied for 10th place out of 30 teams after the first round of the three-day event down at the Jekyll Island Invitational in Georgia.

However, leading the Bishops individually were seniors Grady Anderson and Mariano Silvestri as they currently sit in a 3-way tie for 1st place after shooting identical 68s in the first round. They are both at -4 under par helping Wesleyan to tenth place with a score of 296 (+8) trailing first place LaGrange and Illinois Wesleyan by just 8 strokes.
