NORMAN, Okla. – The NCAA Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the Golf Coaches Assoc. of America. A total of 98 players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2019.

Named as All-South Region players for the Battling Bishops Golf Team were seniors Grady Anderson and Mariano Silvestri.

These honors go along with their other honors received this season as Anderson was named to the All-USA South Conference First team while Silvestri was named to the All-Conference Second team and to the Conference All-Tournament Team for his 4th place finish in the conference tournament in April. 

Anderson and Silvestri helped lead the Bishops to the NCAA Div. III National Tournament in Kentucky as an at-large team. The 16th ranked Bishops finished in 14th place among 42 teams with Silvestri placing 32nd overall. They were also both named co-MVPs of the team in 2019.
