Soccer's Drew Wiltse Earns Second Academic All-District Honor

Rocky Mount, N.C. - The 2015 Capital One Academic All-District® Soccer Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. North Carolina Wesleyan is pleased to announce that junior Drew Wiltse of men's soccer was honored as a District 5 selection for a second straight season.

The Academic All-District ® teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. Nominees must have been a starter or an important reserve for his team, while maintaining at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in the classroom.

Wiltse far-exceeced the criteria in his chosen fields of Accounting and Business Administration. A native of Centreville, Virginia, the reigning team MVP has started every match for the Bishops this season, serving as team captain. Last year's NCWC Male Student-Athlete of the Year, Wiltse is a member of the N.C. Wesleyan President's List and is a USA South All-Conference honoree both athletically and academically.

The NCWC Department of Athletics congratulates Drew on this noteworthy accomplishment!
