Jeshon comes to Wesleyan from a local high school, Southwest Edgecombe, where he competed in Cross Country and Track & Field. 

During his freshman year he continued to improve over the season and peaked at NCAA Regionals where he ran a personal best of 31:35 (8K).  During the spring track season, Jeshon ran in the 4x100 and 800 meters.
