Rocky Mount, N.C. - The North Carolina Wesleyan women's soccer team hosted a pair of USA South matches this weekend at Scalf Field, fighting to a 0-0 double overtime draw with Huntingdon College on Saturday before dropping a 2-0 decision to LaGrange College on Sunday. Prior to Sunday's match, head coach Beverly Biancur honored her three seniors: Chelsea Laurens, Laine Hicks and Tori Jones.

On Saturday afternoon, the Bishops played a defensive match versus the Hawks. Staying scoreless through regulation and two overtimes, the board would remain 0-0 at the horn. Wesleyan out-shot Huntingdon 10-7 on the match, with NCWC keeper Haley Hopkins making four saves.

LaGrange struck first on Sunday with a goal from Brittany Gray with a minute left in the first half. At the 52:12 mark, Rebecca Rensenhouse would feed a one touch pass to Elise Hopson to tally the Panthers' second goal, securing the 2-0 final. LaGrange held a slim 7-6 advantage in shots on the day.

The Bishops (6-9-1, 3-7-1 USA South) wrap up their regular season on Wednesday with a USA South match against Meredith College. Kickoff is slated for 3:00pm, and the Bishops will be fighting to secure the league's final spot in the USA South Tournament, which kicks off next weekend.
