Raleigh, N.C. - The North Carolina Wesleyan women's soccer team earned a 3-0 league shutout of William Peace University on Saturday afternoon, blanking the Pacers 3-0 in Raleigh. Sophomore Logan Bill gave the Bishops all the offense they needed with a goal in the 51st minute, which was assisted by Sarah Olsowski. NCWC is now 7-5-1 overall.

After fighting through a scoreless opening period, the Pacers had their work cut out for them in the second half after a red card just before intermission would force them to play a man down. Bill made WPU pay with her score less then six minutes in, while senior Rebecca Staylor netted goals at 64:03 (from Cissi Edehult) and 88:29 (unassisted).

Freshman keeper Sarah Hovis picked up her second win in net, as her team out-shot the Pacers 20-1 on the day.
