Rocky Mount, N.C. - The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that senior Anna Hart of volleyball has been selected to play in the USA Division 3 All Star Tour. Traveling to Brazil, Hart will begin her 10-day experience on June 10th.

"We will be traveling in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Rio de Janeiro for seven days where we'll play five contests versus Brazilian teams," said Hart.

Leaving on June 10th, Hart will arrive in Brazil on the morning of June 12th and plays in her first match that evening. The team will play their last match on June 17th and spend the next day sightseeing before heading home on the 19th.

"This will be my first time out of the country, and I couldn't be more excited that the sport I love has led me to such a great opportunity," she added.

Hart, an honors student Wesleyan, is a four-year letterwinner for head coach Robin Pietryk. She recently completed her stellar career this past fall as a First Team USA South All-Conference selection, having led her Battling Bishops to their 6th-straight 20-win season. 

"I am grateful for my coaches and the ability to represent Wesleyan volleyball overseas," Hart concluded.
