Rocky Mount, N.C. - In Tuesday afternoon baseball action, Washington & Lee University picked up a 5-2 win over N.C. Wesleyan at Bauer Field. Senior Hayden Williams went 3-for-3 at the plate with a run scored to pace the Bishops on offense, but it would not be enough as the Generals got all the run support they would need with a three-spot in their first at-bat.

NCWC's Luis Palencia and Ciro Norzagaray each had RBIs for the Bishops, while sophomore hurler Dillon Moore (0-1) took the loss on the mound. Ryan Weston highlighted the Generals' stat-line with a 3-run homer in the first inning.

Wesleyan (2-4) opens up USA South Conference play with a three-game set versus Huntington College this weekend. Game one is slated for a 2:30pm start on Friday afternoon at Bauer Field. Friday's game will feature both live stats and video.
