Greensboro, N.C. - N.C. Wesleyan opened its three-game set at Greensboro with a 7-2 win on Friday thanks, in part, to senior Ciro Norzagaray's two-run homer in the fifth inning that broke a 2-2 tie and put the Bishops on top for good.

Junior Ryan Grant (5-1) picked up the win on the mound, allowing two runs on five hits over six complete. Senior Dillon Moore tossed the final three scoreless innings to earn his second save, notching a trio of strikeouts and allowing just two baserunners.

Offensively, freshman Brandon Wheat went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, while junior Tony Sanchez finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Senior Kaelan Jacobs also drove in a pair of runs.

After the game, it was announced that Saturday's doubleheader has been moved to Sunday due to the threat of inclement weather. Sunday's first game is slated for 1:00pm.
