Greensboro, N.C. - Senior Ciro Norzagaray tallied RBIs in the sixth and eighth innings to lead his NCWC baseball squad to a 7-5 win in Sunday's rubber game at Greensboro. The Pride had previously taken the opening game of Sunday's doubleheader by a 6-1 score.

Tied 5-5 in the fifth, Norzagaray drove home junior Luis Palencia with a single to right center that proved to be the eventual gamewinner. He later added an insurance run in the eighth with a solo homerun to left that secured the 7-5 final.

Pitcher Joseph Borgerding (1-1) picked up the win in relief, giving up one run on five hits over 3.1 innings of work. Senior Dillon Moore notched his second save of the series by tossing a scoreless eighth and ninth.

Offensively, Norzagaray, Palencia, James Lovett, and Trey Croom had two hits apiece for the Bishops, with Croom driving in a trio of runs.

In the opener, GC's Josh Evans stifled Wesleyan's offense and gave up just three hits over seven complete en route to the win.

The Bishops are now 18-7 overall, 9-3 in the USA South. NCWC hosts non-conference foe Hood College on Tuesday afternoon at Bauer Field. First pitch is slated for 3:00pm.
