Rocky Mount, N.C. - Head Baseball Coach Charlie Long is pleased to announce a fundraising collaboration with Steve Felton Designs for his team's ongoing Kids vs. Cancer campaign to benefit Duke Children's Hospital.

As announced in January, the Bishops have set aside their April 2nd game versus Piedmont College as their promotion day for this worthy cause. Felton, a 1984 N.C. Wesleyan graduate and freelance artist, has agreed to join in this effort by donating the proceeds of his specially-ordered designs. The Rocky Mount native is known for his paintings that he transposes from canvas to notecards and calendars.

Says Felton via his website, "I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. I hope you enjoy using my notecards and other art, knowing that your purchase allows me to donate the proceeds... This gives me great pleasure, as well as allowing me to strengthen old friendships and establish new relationships."

In this instance, proceeds from the orders received by Felton will be donated to the Vs. Cancer Foundation. Half of all money raised will benefit national childhood cancer research, while the other half will help kids directly undergoing treatment at Duke Children's Hospital, where Felton is a current member of the National Board of Advisors.
