LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The NC Wesleyan College Baseball team dropped a high-scoring conference road game 25-17 to Covenant College on Friday in a game that was delayed by rain and took most of the day to complete.

However, the Bishops would not surrender scoring 6 runs themselves the following inning to trail just 12-11 behind a two-run double from RF Moses Vigo, an RBI double from Kornegay, and a two-run homer from Croom.

NCWC would then take a short-lived 15-14 lead in the sixth on a Jackson Murray RBI double, another Andrews RBI single, and a Andrew Nichols two-run home run before the Scots rallied again to take a 19-15 lead. Wesleyan would score their 16th and 17th runs in the 7th inning to get within four on an error and a Alec Titmus sac fly.

Wesleyan unfortunately could not keep Covenant off the scoreboard the rest of the game in falling by 8 to drop to 22-13 overall and 12-8 in the conference. Covenant improved to 15-20 and 8-13 in the league.
