Rocky Mount, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan football program is pleased to announce that junior wide receiver Malik Adams has been named to the D3Football.com All-South Region team. A native of Selma, N.C., Adams garnered Second Team accolades.
This is the first All-Region award for the talented Adams, who was recently named the USA South Offensive Player of the Year. He led the conference in nearly every receiving category, including a league-leading 72 catches, 1,309 yards, 130.9 yards per game, 19 touchdowns, and 114 points scored. The 19 receiving TDs led the nation and established a new USA South single-season record, giving Adams a conference-best 36 career touchdown catches heading into his senior year.
