Football Special Teams Player of the Week

Chase Corey, N.C. Wesleyan - The junior punter and punt returner from Wake Forest, North Carolina produced the only touchdown of the day for the Battling Bishops in a 30-7 loss to Huntingdon last week. Corey returned a first quarter blocked punt 32 yards for a touchdown which gave N.C. Wesleyan an early 7-0 lead.
 
Additionally, Corey handled the punting duties, averaging 36.4 yards on seven attempts including a long of 48.
 
He will next help lead the Bishops on Senior Day this Saturday when Wesleyan returns home to host Southern Virginia at Noon.
