ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - During the month of November, " Cans across the Conference" as well as the NC Wesleyan College Athletic Department, USA South Conference and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be collecting can goods for a local center that provides canned meals for those in need.
As we begin this drive we ask that you will join us in our collection this Saturday at NOON at the NCWC vs. Southern Virginia football game!
Get free admission into the football game by bringing 5 or more cans or non-perishable foods to the front gate!
This year SAAC will be providing Coffee, Bagels and Doughnuts on the first day of finals, to the athletic program that collects the most cans per player on their roster. The Canned food drive will go until November 22, the Monday before thanksgiving.
There will also be containers around campus for other community members to donate cans.
