Harris, Cager Earn USA South Postseason Accolades

Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its 2014-2015 All-Conference awards for women's basketball with a total of 27 student-athletes being honored. N.C. Wesleyan had two Battling Bishops garner accolades in the form of Second Team honoree Kenyata Harris and All-Sportsmanship representative Jordan Cager.

With her Second Team nod, Harris now becomes a two-time All-Conference selection after being named the league's Rookie of the Year and a Third Team honoree last season. The sophomore guard from Raleigh, N.C. averaged a team-best 14.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this season, which ranked 3rd and 7th in the league, respectively. Additionally, her 49 steals and 19 blocks led all Bishop players.

Cager, also a sophomore, picks up her second straight All-Sportsmanship award. The Upper Marlboro, Md. native ranked second on the team in scoring at 9.5 points per game this season.

Elsewhere around the league, Ferrum's Jacole Hairston was named the Player of the Year and her teammate, Zarkia Mattox, was named Rookie of the Year. Maryville's Darrin Travillian collected Coach of the Year accolades.
