Pair of Bishops Earn USA South Postseason Accolades in Hoops

Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South has released is postseason awards in the sport of women's basketball, and a pair of Battling Bishops have earned recognition. Senior KeChae Parker led the way as a Second Team All-East Division selection for the second straight season. She was joined by junior Daijah Davis, who was named to the league's All-Sportsmanship team.

Parker picks up the second All-Conference honor of her career after leading the Bishops in scoring and rebounding at over 13 points and eight boards per game. Both totals ranked in the East Division's top-10 overall, as did her 2.0 steals per contest.

Davis earns the first postseason award of her career as member of the All-Sportsmanship squad. She helped anchor the Bishop offense from the point guard position and currently leads the team with 65 assists on the season. Additionally, her 35 steals rank second to Parker.

Parker and Davis have helped lead the Bishops to a 13-13 overall record thusfar this season, which includes a 9-7 mark in USA South play and a win in the USA South Tournament first round. The duo will now set their sights on Saturday's quarterfinal action between their 4th-seeded Bishops and top-seeded Greensboro College. Tip-off is slated for 2:00pm.
