Women's Basketball Volunteers at local Elementary School

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College women's basketball team took time out of their busy schedule on Monday morning to return the favor by volunteering their time and even shooting some hoops with the local kids from Baskerville Elementary School in Rocky Mount.

Baskerville showed their support to the Bishop women as they were the school that had the most kids attend the women's Elementary School appreciation day game vs. Pfeiffer on January 26.

The women ended up winning that game with a buzzer-beating three-pointer from sophomore guard Kayla Johnson.

The women finish up their home schedule with a senior day "Play4kay" game this Saturday when they host Meredith College at 4 PM.
