ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.- Rocky Mount's local tv station, WHIG-TV, concluded another installment of their weekly live morning sports show featuring NCWC sports that will air every Tuesday Morning from 8:00 AM-8:20 on WHIG-TV. The show is presented by Don Bulluck Chevrolet.
This week featured WHIG's Wayne Holloman interviewing NC Wesleyan's head softball coach John Brackett and head women's basketball coach Artina Trader. Coach Trader recaps her season and their senior day win from Saturday and previews her playoff game tomorrow while Brackett previews his team and upcoming season. Brackett's Lady Bishops were also selected preseason third in the USA South Eastern Division with 47 points.
The 5th seeded women (11-14) are back in action on Wednesday on the road at #4 seed Mary Baldwin University (Va.) (16-9) at 6 PM. Softball opens their season next Tuesday when they host Virginia Wesleyan College at 2 PM.
