Bishop Men Suffer League Loss at Ferrum, 85-71

Ferrum, Va. - The North Carolina Wesleyan men's basketball team returned from its holiday break on Saturday, traveling to Ferrum College for a league tilt with the Panthers. After forging a 43-38 lead at the break, the Battling Bishops watched as Ferrum used a 47-28 surge in the second half to earn an 85-71 win.  

FC's Lamont King went 8-12 from the floor en route to a season-high 24 points. In all, five Ferrum (5-5, 2-0 USA South) players reached double-figures on the day. 

Brandon Givens had 29 points for the Bishops (7-3, 0-2 USA South). Givens came into the game averaging 27.3 points per game over his team's first 10 games. 

Wesleyan returns to action on Wednesday when the Bishops travel to Greensboro College for 7:30pm USA South contest versus the Pride.
