Rocky Mount, NC - In a thrilling basketball game, the NC Wesleyan men's basketball team managed to edge out Mary Baldwin with a final score of 67-65. The game was full of suspense, and it all came down to a buzzer beater by senior Brayden Dixon with just one second left on the clock.

Although Wesleyan trailed for most of the contest, they never gave up and managed to close the gap in the closing minutes. Dixon, who had 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists for the game, was the hero of the night as he sank the game-winning shot.

Marquis Eskew also had a great game, scoring a season-high 18 points and contributing 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the Bishops. The team dominated the boards, outrebounding Mary Baldwin 44-28, which played a critical role in their victory. Additionally, they held MBU to under 35 percent from 3, which was a significant factor in the win`.

Wesleyan's shooting was solid, as they finished the game shooting 44 percent from the floor. Kyron Kelly provided some excellent contributions off the bench, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for a double-double.

The Bishops finish the regular season 21-4 and 13-1 in conference action. The men's team will be back in action on Thursday night for the semi-finals of the USA South tournament.
