Rocky Mount, N.C. - NCWC's Brandon Givens, Chris Ford and Jesse Simpson all reached double-figures as the Battling Bishops picked up their fifth straight hoops win with a 75-49 victory at Mid-Atlantic Christian on Saturday.
The Bishops held the Mustangs to just 15 points in the first half and went on to shoot nearly 50 percent from the floor for the game to secure the 26-point win. Givens finished with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Ford and Simpson chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Now 14-7 overall, Wesleyan returns to USA South action on Wednesday night when the Bishops host Greensboro College at 7:00pm. Head Coach John Thompson will be honoring his senior class prior to tip-off.
