Bishop Men Wrap Up Regular Season Slate at CNU

Newport News, Va. - The North Carolina Wesleyan men's basketball team wrapped up its regular season slate on Wednesday night, dropping a 93-67 decision at league-leading Christopher Newport. The Captains (16-5, 9-3 USA South) raced out to a 52-38 lead at the break and held Wesleyan to just 29 points in the second half. 

Senior Cornelius Snow and sophomore Chris Ford netted 13 and 10 points, respectively, while senior Brandon Givens rounded out a trio of Bishops in double-figures with 15. Earlier in the week, Givens had picked up his sixth USA South Player of the Week nod after averaging a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds per game.

The Bishops (15-10, 6-8 USA South) will now await seeding for next weekend's USA South Conference Tournament, which will be held in Fayetteville, N.C. from February 21st to the 23rd.
