Greensboro, N.C. - Sophomore Adrian Moore poured in a season-high 23 points on Wednesday night, helping his N.C. Wesleyan men's basketball team secure an 86-74 USA South win at Greensboro College. Moore knocked down 10-of-15 attempts from the floor for the Bishops, who shot nearly 53 percent as a team on the night.

Down 20-12 midway the first half, NCWC put together an 11-2 run over a four-minute span to take a 23-22 lead at the 6:09 mark. After a Pride basket momentarily put them back on top, Bishop senior Brandon Brown knocked down a pair of free throws to give his team a lead they would not relinquish.

Wesleyan went on to forge a 40-31 halftime advantage and led by as many as 14 in the second half.

Brown complimented Moore's performance with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Fellow senior D.J. Weaver chipped in 19 of his own, while Parris Scales paced GC with 17.

With the victory, Wesleyan moves to 10-6 overall, 3-2 in conference action. The Bishops travel to William Peace University on Saturday for a 4:00pm match-up with the Pacers in Raleigh.
