Kansas City, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has released its Division III All-District teams and coaches for 2016, recognizing the nation's best men's basketball student-athletes.

Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, N.C. Wesleyan is pleased to announce that Battling Bishop senior Brandon Brown has been named a Second Team All-South performer. Brown was one of 88 student-athletes and coaches from eight districts to garner recognition.

A native of Fayetteville, N.C., Brown averaged 15.6 points per game in USA South play this season en route to First Team All-Conference honors. He also led the Bishops in three-pointers made in league play (37), while his 6.6 rebounds per game were also a team-best. His stellar season help Wesleyan secure the 2015-16 USA South Regular Season Championship, as well as the program's eighth 20-win season and the first since the 2010-11.

Brown's All-District honor is the first of his three-year Wesleyan tenure, which ended with him netting 855 career points and grabbing 455 rebounds.

Congratulations Brandon!
