LAGRANGE, Ga. - The NC Wesleyan College women's lacrosse team continued their winning streak on Saturday by defeating conference foe LaGrange College (Ga.) 15-12 on the road for their 3rd straight win.

Sophomore midfielder Ali Cucinotta led the Bishops with 5 goals and 3 assists for 8 points as she scored her 100th career goal in the win as well. She also led the team in draw control wins with 8 as well as ground balls with 5 and caused turnovers with two.

Wesleyan got out to a 9-5 lead at halftime as they scored the final four goals of the first half with three from freshman midfielder Madeline Graham after LC had tied the Bishops at 5 with 11 minutes left in the half.

LC then went on a 6-2 run to start the second half and rally back to tie the Bishops at 11 goals apiece with 19 minutes to play. However, the Ladies would then step up their defense and with the help of 7 saves from freshman goalie Millenia Crespo, the Bishops would go on to hold the Panthers to just one goal over the rest of the half.
