Lacrosse Ends 2023 Campaign in USA South Tournament

Raleigh, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan lacrosse program fell to Meredith to end their 2023 campaign. This season was also the first time ever the Battling Bishops qualified for the USA South Tournament. Highlights of the year included road wins over William Peace and Pfeiffer paired with two Battling Bishops scoring 20 goals on the year.

Transfer Lailah Espinal and Senior Blaire Harley finished the year with Espinal having 20 goals. Espinal, from New York was named the team's 2023 Team MVP and Harley has been a vital part of NCWU Athletics including being selected as the only athlete at the school to attend the annual DIII meetings in San Antonio with Athletic Director Aaron Denton.

The Bishops look to improve off the rebuilding year and can't wait to see what the program's future has in store.
