Debbie Allison coached North Carolina Wesleyan’s softball program to a 104-24 record from 1978-1982.  The Battling Bishops won back-to-back NCAIAW Division III Championships in 1980 and 1981, and in 1982, her squad won the Dixie Conference Tournament with Allison being named Dixie Conference Coach of the Year. 

As the volleyball coach, Allison compiled a record of 75-27.  The Bishops were the NCAIAW Division III Champions 1980 and 1981 and the runner-up in 1979.  The team won the Dixie Conference regular season in 1981, while Allison was selected as the Dixie Conference Coach of the Year.
