Lloyd Watts made a name for himself as a standout player for the
men's basketball team from 1983 to 1987. A First Team
All-Conference performer in 1986-87, he was later named to the
All-South Region team and garnered recognition as the College's
Most Outstanding Male Athlete that same season.
Statistically, Watts finished with 1,125 points during his
career, which ranked fourth all-time upon his graduation. The
two-time Most Valuable Player ('85-'86 & '86-'87) also held the
career record for assists with 467 and single-game steals
with seven at the time of his
induction. Additionally, Watts had three 30-point games to his
credit during his Bishop tenure.
