Rocky Mount, N.C. - The Battling Bishop baseball team recorded its second straight win on Thursday, plating a pair of runs in the ninth inning en route to a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over Albertus Magnus at Bauer Field.

The Falcons (0-5) had forged a 4-1 lead going into Wesleyan's final two at-bats but saw their lead cut to one, 4-3, thanks to a two-run triple by sophomore Hayden Williams in the eighth.

After Will Beasley (2-0) tossed a scoreless ninth, NCWC's Noah Huff and Zach Moore drew walks to open the Bishops' half of the frame.  Senior Andre' Nichols delivered a one-out RBI-single to right that plated pinch runner Jose Pedrosa and advanced Moore to third. Tied at 4-4, Moore scampered home with the winning run on the ensuing wild pitch.

Bishop starter Jackson Pleasant got a no-decision after allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out seven. Nichols paced the Bishop offense with a 4-for-5 showing at the plate.

Wesleyan (12-13) opens a three-game set with North Central College on Friday at 3:00pm.
