USA South Baseball Pitcher of the Week


Derrick Carter, N.C. Wesleyan - The junior from Rocky Mount, North Carolina earned a complete-game, seven-inning, shutout win in his only start last week for the Battling Bishops, a 12-0, victory over USA South foe Averett. Carter allowed just four hits and zero walks with a new career-high of 13 strikeouts. 

The 9th ranked Bishops are now 26-6 on the year and have won the East Division with a 14-1 record. Carter is 7-0 on the year with a 2.47 ERA and 65 strikeouts.
