Macon, GA - In his fifth season at the helm of N.C. Wesleyan, Clifton earns his second USA South Coach of the Year honor. Currently just outside the D3baseball.com/NCBWA national rankings with an overall record of 30-8, the Battling Bishops captured the program's third straight and 20th all-time USA South Regular Season crown by accumulating an 18-3 Conference record. Additionally, this spring is just the second time since the 2006 season that N.C. Wesleyan has reached the 30-win plateau. The Battling Bishops now head into the USA South tournament as the top-seed and will host one of the two first round, three-team, double-elimination tournaments, looking to capture the program's eighth title and their first since 2009.
