Lexington County, SC - Baseball athletes Tyson Bass and Cord Butler have been named members of the 2023 Coastal Plain League All-Star Game representing the Boone BigFoots. The game will take place in Lexington County, SC and tickets can be purchased at the link below. Being selected to the All-Star Game for Butler and Bass is a tremendous honor as the rosters consist of a plethora of players representing Power 5 schools.
This summer for Boone, the two Bishops have put on a show for the fans in the high country of North Carolina. Butler has a 3.52 ERA this summer with 20 strikeouts and a perfect 6/6 on saves/attempts. In a remarkable stat, Butler did not allow a single hit for the BigFoots out of the bullpen before being transitioned into a starter for the club.
Bass on the other hand has been crushing the baseball with a .297 BA, 5 home runs, 21 RBIs, and a .357 OBP. Bass also has tremendous versatility and athleticism for Boone which makes him an ideal All-Star, stealing 10 bases, and hitting the longest home run of the summer at 458 feet.
The All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday, July 18th and can be streamed on flobaseball.tv.
