Chandler Padgett Earns Premier League Pitcher of the Year Honors

Edenton, N.C. - N.C. Wesleyan Baseball Senior RHP Chandler Padgett has been named the 2023 Premier League Pitcher of the Year, announced by the league's commissioner. Padgett had a 1.88 ERA, 6 wins, 52 strikeouts, 0.96 WHIP, and 0.1164 OBA. Padgett led the PCL in each category except ERA in which his 1.89 was good enough for second in the league.

Not only did he win Pitcher of the Year honors, but Padgett led the Steamers to a league championship on the mound, which is the first time in team history the Steamers have won back-to-back titles.
