BELMONT, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College Cheer Team competed in the Belmont Abbey competition on Saturday defeating Div. II foe Mars Hill University to take first place.

"The NCWC cheer team competed for the first time today in three years and brought home 1st place," exclaimed an excited head coach Tonia Grimsley!

The Cheer team will next be in action on April 9 when they head down to Daytona Beach, FL for the Cheerleading Championships.
